High School Welcome
THE WELL is the high school ministry at Redemption Hill Church. Our desire is to foster an environment where students from all backgrounds can come and feel at home. We want our high schoolers to love, worship and enjoy God through a personal, intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
High School Description
Wednesday Nights // 6:30-8:30PM // Room A202
Wednesday nights are an opportunity for high school students to gather to connect with one another and engage in solid, relevant teaching of the Bible. Students will also have an opportunity to grow in small groups. These groups are organized by grade and gender and provide a great opportunity to know other people and be known by them. You will experience what it looks like to follow Jesus and live life together. If you're a high school student, we would love to have you join us!
Sunday Mornings // 9:15AM-10:30AM // Room A202
Sunday mornings are an opportunity for high school students to gather to connect with one another and engage in solid, relevant teaching of the Bible. Students will also have an opportunity to grow in small groups. You will experience what it looks like to follow Jesus and live life together. If you're a high school student, come check it out! We would love to have you join us!
Camps & Events
In addition to our weekly programs, camps and events are a big part of how we engage students at RHC. Every camp and event is designed with a purpose in mind, like telling students about Jesus, helping students build and strengthen great relationships with peers, and developing leaders. Events happen on average once a month. Each event is customized to engage students in a fun and relevant way. Cost varies depending on the event.

High School Upcoming Events
Unleashed is a camp we plan each summer that focuses on training you how to share the Gospel and have spiritual conversations. It's an AMAZING week. We spend the week at Vanguard University; in the mornings we provide training seminars, in the afternoon we go witnessing at local beaches, and in the evenings we enjoy hanging with each other and worshiping in chapel. There are pockets of free time for relaxing, playing games together, and bonding as a group.
HELP A KID GO TO CAMP!
We would love it if you would consider helping get a student to camp because we know that camp isn't always the easiest to afford. Here are 3 specific ways you can get involved:
Become an UNLEASHED PARTNER
As an UNLEASHED Partner, we’ll pair you with a specific student heading to UNLEASHED. You will commit to pray for them regularly, and help chip in towards their cost of camp. The student will be responsible to send you a letter introducing themselves and sharing prayer requests for their time at UNLEASHED. This also helps our students connect more broadly with the church body, and gives you an opportunity to follow up with them after camp.
Create WORK OPPORTUNITIES (PROJECTS?):
Do you have a yard that needs work, a house that needs cleaning, or another work opportunity? Sign up and we’ll connect you with a student who will come work, and you can make a donation towards the cost of UNLEASHED as payment.
Give to our SCHOLARSHIP FUND
We have a general scholarship fund that is used for UNLEASHED, as well as Hume Lake (High School summer camp) and Thousand Pines (Jr. High summer camp). You are invited to join the ministry that happens at camp by giving to our scholarship fund.
Instructions for Giving
Online Giving: Head to THIS LINK, and then find the student’s name in the drop down options or select “Student Ministry Scholarship Fund” if you are giving to the general scholarship fund. All donations are tax deductible.
Giving by Check: Make check out to “Redemption Hill Church”. If you are donating to a student, write “Unleashed: (Student Name)” in the memo. If you are giving to the general scholarship fund, write “Student Ministries Scholarship Fund” in the memo.
High School Summer Camp
July 28-Aug 3
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FOLLOW CHRIST?
This summer we want students to understand that Christ followers. . .follow Christ. Although many people in our culture have identified as a “Christian”, there is often a misunderstanding of how Jesus defines following. Even the earliest followers of Christ wrestled with the same questions we face today: “How do we follow a God we cannot see?” We will see how Jesus himself answers this question, and enables us to follow Him through His Spirit and the Church.
GALATIANS 2:20 (THEME VERSE)
“I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SOON!
